April 2018: In 2018, in memory of much missed former members Joe and Muriel Brooks, we sponsored a children’s toy theatre and donated £500 to Priest’s House Museum’s Revival Project. Joe and Muriel, who moved to Wimborne with their children in the 1960s, were passionate about the theatre and local history, and over the course of the next 50 years became very active members of Wimborne Drama Productions and dedicated volunteers at the Priest’s House Museum, the Museum of East Dorset.
