Theatre takes you to places and experiences in a way the silver screen cannot. Nothing competes when live actors tackle intense subjects, and you can see the emotion develop in front of you. Although I have no desire to be on the stage I have always loved going to the theatre, and I especially enjoyed watching my wife Ann perform. After she sadly passed away, I was pulled into Wimborne Drama Productions by their kindness and friendship, and it’s been awesome. The group is way beyond amateur, full of talent and yet everyone is so positive and supportive of each other. So far I’ve been lucky enough to do ASM, Set Design, Sound, Projection, Special Effects etc. The group keeps pushing new boundaries so every show comes with its own unique challenges.
