We are thrilled to announce that we are back performing live theatre at the Tivoli in Wimborne in October, after a gap of more than 18 months due to the Covid pandemic.
And we return in style, with a classic murder mystery from the Queen of Crime, Agatha Christie – TOWARDS ZERO – which she adapted for the stage with Gerald Verner.
When murder is the end and not the beginning …. When a house party gathers at Gull’s Point, the clifftop home of Lady Tressilian (Ann McColgan-Clark), Neville Strange (Sam Moulton) finds himself caught between his ex-wife Audrey (Tracey Nicholls) and his new flame Kay (Jo Eva Edington). A nail-biting thriller, the play probes the psychology of jealousy in the shadow of a savage and brutal murder.
The play, directed by Paul Dodman, is adapted from Agatha Christie’s 1944 novel, which she described as one of her favourite stories. Also in the cast are David Beddard, James Bourner, Rob Cording-Cook, Chris Durham, Tony Feltham, Lindsay McGowan and Richard Neal.
“Needless to say we are very excited to be back, as it has been nearly 18 months since we rehearsed and performed a play. It will so good to meet up with friends again, to get back into the rehearsal room, and of course to perform to a live theatre audience once again, with the buzz that gives,” said Publicity Manager Richard Neal.
This amateur production of Towards Zero is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd on behalf of Samuel French Ltd.
