Last nights AGM saw the final minute taking from our long standing club secretary Tracey Nicholls. Tracey joined the club in 2001 and a couple of years later was asked if she would temporarily take on the role of club secretary until someone more permanent could be found. As they say, the rest is history.
Apart from one year off, for the past 22 years Tracey has been the cornerstone of the committee and been a major factor in why the club has been so organised and, although an amateur group, so professionally run. Along with her administrative duties Tracey has been, and will continue to be, an active member of the club taking on the role of actor, director and stage manager multiple times. Since joining the club she has been involved in over 50 productions.

As Tracey said after receiving presents of appreciation from the club’s president Malcolm Angel, Wimborne Drama Productions has become her extended family and as many current and past members know Traceys kindness and dedication has touched all.
The role of club secretary will now be taken on by Kelly Webb who Tracey will guide and shadow for a while. Kelly will soon learn there is much more to the role than just minute taking.
Thank you Tracey – what a star.
